Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications and services using the latest versions of C# and .NET Core.
- Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) for .NET. You will also be responsible for creating reusable Terraform 2. templates to wrap and deploy C# services.
- Build solutions leveraging a range of AWS services, including AWS Lambda, MSK Connect, Apache Flink, Amazon Neptune, and Amazon Athena.
- Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle, from initial design and development through to testing and deployment.
- Quickly dive into and understand the existing application and codebase, making impactful contributions from day one.
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to our platform's architecture, development processes, and overall performance with a customer centric mindset.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Expertise in C#, .NET Core & CDK.Net
- Strong experience using .NET for developing web applications.
- Demonstrable experience of infrastructure templating with CloudFormation and/or Terraform 3. Experience with implementing OOP principles and design patterns with C#.
- Experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, TeamCity.)
- Strong working knowledge of at least one database technology; Aurora RDS, Postgres, SQL Server, Documentdb.

Nice-to-Have Skills

- A solid understanding of core networking principles and protocols.
- Exposure to AWS data and streaming services such as Amazon Athena, AWS Glue, Amazon Kinesis, Amazon EMR, Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose, or zero-ETL solutions.
- Proficiency in additional scripting languages like PowerShell, Shell scripting (Bash), Ansible, or Kotlin.
- Experience and familiarity working within both Windows and Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with modern monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of database schema migration and version control tools, such as Liquibase or Flyway.
