What this role is all about

We are seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join our Melbourne team and play a key role in delivering high-quality fire engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects.

This is an opportunity to step into a senior position where you will contribute to multidisciplinary projects and support the growth and capability of the broader team. You will work closely with Directors, Fire Services Lead and project teams nationally, bringing technical expertise and a proactive mindset to deliver safe, compliant, and innovative outcomes.

How you’ll contribute day-to-day

- Lead fire protection design across a range of projects including education, health, defence, commercial and infrastructure
- Deliver wet and dry fire services design from concept through to construction and handover
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions
- Engage with clients, building surveyors, and fire authorities to ensure compliance and best practice
- Support and mentor junior engineers, contributing to team capability and growth
- Prepare technical documentation including reports, drawings, and specifications
- Stay across industry developments, codes, and legislative changes

What sets you up for success

- Has 5+ years’ experience in fire protection engineering within building services
- Brings strong technical capability across wet and dry fire systems design
- Communicates clearly and builds solid relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Takes ownership and delivers with accuracy, attention to detail, and pace




- Enjoys mentoring others and contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Is proactive, solutions-focused, and motivated to make an impact
