We are a boutique law firm based in the heart of Fremantle seeking an experienced Family & Criminal Lawyer with 3+ years' post-admission experience (PAE) to join our practice.
This is an excellent chance for a motivated lawyer who enjoys working closely with clients, managing matters with autonomy, and being part of a supportive, collaborative team.
About the Role
You will manage a varied caseload across family and criminal law matters, including:
- Family law disputes, parenting and property matters
- Divorce and de facto relationship matters
- Restraining orders
- Criminal law matters
- Client consultations, negotiations, advocacy, and court appearances
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for clients
About you To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' post-admission experience in family and criminal law
- Admission to practice in Western Australia with a current practising certificate
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and file management abilities
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a close-knit team
- A compassionate, practical, and client-focused approach
