YOUR ROLE

As a KEY Junior/Intermediate Lawyer of this winning Total & Permanent Disablement/Superannuation/ Insurance Claims division [approx 15] of this first-class plaintiff firm, being mentored by one of NSW’s best of the best top senior expert TPD lawyers [who HEADS up the TPD/Super division], you will love the CHALLENGE+ immense SATISFACTION of helping seriously injured clients obtain justice in respect of their TPD/income protection/trauma insurance claims via their superannuation fund+ other insurance policies.

You will be the RIGHT-HAND to the HEAD TPD/SUPER/INSURANCE Lawyer assisting with the running of high-end sophisticated stimulating and interesting cases . You will get ‘front-end’ substantive hands-on BROAD-SPECTRUM experience including:

- obtaining client instructions, reviewing medical evidence+ trust deed/insurance policies, legal research, providing technical legal advice in respect of the viability of the claim, liaising with the super fund, insurers/their solicitors and doctors, briefing counsel and attending court/settlement conferences.

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

- Are an admitted solicitor in NSW (or about to be admitted)+ have minimum 1+ year OR MORE PLAINTIFF personal injury legal experience;
- have had some TPD/super/income protection insurance experience + a serious/genuine keen interest in TPD/superannuation/insurance law;
- have strong Microsoft Office (including Word) skills;
- have strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- are highly organized and can meet deadlines;
- can work in a vibrant, fast-paced environment;
