Our client is a FIRST-CLASS integrated legal/financial services firm [led by top calibre senior lawyers+ accountants] with 25+years of success servicing blue-chip sophisticated clients.

YOUR ROLE

In this VIP HEAD finance role, reporting to 3 senior directors, you will relish the challenge+ diversity of taking 100% ownership of the firm’s entire accounting function-from the basic day-to-day to high-end strategic business input.

In particular, you will be responsible for:

- accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial+ management reporting, trust accounting, budgets/forecasts, cash flows, PAYG, payroll, variance analysis, superannuation, workers compensation, BAS and GST;
- ensuring corporate governance/regulatory compliance;
- providing value-add commercial/strategic input.

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

- are degree qualified in accounting [or similar]+ are fully CA/CPA qualified [or studying];
- have 5-10+years hands-on accounting experience;
- have a solid understanding of Australian accounting standards+ tax legislation;
- have worked in a law/accounting firm or other skilled services with experience in trust accounts (preferable);
- have high accuracy/attention to detail with high commercial acumen [all essential];
- are efficient, deadline driven +have proven ability to thrive in a busy multi-tasking environment.
