The Role

- Lead the design and delivery of building structures projects across Defence, Data Centres, Education, Healthcare and Commercial sectors
- Take ownership of projects from concept design through to construction support while remaining hands-on technically
- Work closely with clients, architects and contractors to deliver high-quality project outcomes
- Opportunity to be based from either the Sydney CBD or Newcastle office

Responsibilities

- Lead structural projects and provide technical direction throughout the project lifecycle
- Remain actively involved in structural design, technical review and problem solving




- Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact across projects
- Mentor and support engineers and drafters within the team
- Coordinate with architects, contractors and internal disciplines to ensure successful project delivery
- Assist with project planning, resourcing and the ongoing growth of the structural team

Requirements

- Current Principal Structural Engineer or Senior Associate/Associate ready to step into a Principal role
- Experience leading projects and managing engineering teams within a consultancy environment
- Strong building structures design experience within an Australian consultancy
- Experience across commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, Defence or Data centre projects
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Full Australian working rights
