Key Responsibilities
- Consulting with clients to understand their individual hair care, cutting, colouring and styling requirements.
- Cutting, trimming and shaping hair using skilled hairdressing techniques and tools.
- Colouring, bleaching, highlighting and toning hair according to client requirements and desired results.
- Providing professional styling and blow-dry services.
- Applying appropriate hair treatments according to individual client needs.
- Advising clients on hairstyles, colour, hair care and suitable hair products.
- Maintaining high standards of client service throughout appointments.
- Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and presentation standards for tools, equipment and work areas.
- Keeping up to date with current hairdressing techniques, colouring services and styling trends.
- Working collaboratively with other salon team members to maintain professional service standards.
About You
- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Hairdresser.
- Relevant hairdressing qualification or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- Strong skills in hair cutting, colouring, styling and hair treatments.
- Sound knowledge of professional hairdressing techniques and products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand client requirements and provide personalised hair services.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high professional and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a salon team.
Job Type: Permanent / Full-time
Salary: AUD $75,000 – $85,000 per annum
