ACRWORLD has partnered with a number of renewable energy clients to recruit an Electrical Technicians for operations at Solar Farms in regional Victoria, close to Shepparton.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician or renewable energy technician to join the operations and maintenance team supporting the ongoing performance of a large-scale solar asset.

As an Electrical Technician, you will support the secure and efficient operation of the solar farm through the installation phase.

Responsibilities include:

- Completed the full electrical installation package for a 5 MW solar farm project.
- Installed and terminated DC solar cabling, string connections and associated electrical equipment.
- Installed AC cabling, distribution equipment, switchboards and electrical infrastructure.
- Completed cable tray, conduit, trenching and cable management works.
- Installed and connected inverters, transformers, combiner boxes and associated equipment.
- Performed electrical testing, fault finding,



commissioning and verification of installed systems.
- Read and worked from electrical drawings, plans and project specifications.
- Ensured all works were completed in accordance with WHS, electrical standards and site procedures.

Specifics:

- DIDO - 2/1, 3/1 or Mon-Fri/Sat living locally
- $62.50 + travel paid + LAHA
- 1st June start
- 8-10-week contract

Required Qualifications:

- Electricians must be qualified in Australia
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Current LVR/CPR certificate
