The Rix Group, www.therixgroup.com, is a market leader in all aspects of geotechnical construction. Our piling division continues to grow and develop, and we have a vacancy for Senior Project Engineers / Project Engineers, specializing in the piling sector.

The Role

We have an immediate chance for an experienced Senior Project Engineers / Project Engineers with a strong background in piling and civil construction. Reporting to the Project Manager you will assist in the delivery of our piling projects. A background in piling and foundations is vital.

You will be responsible for:

1. Project delivery according to budget, program and specific project objectives
2. Assisting in claims, variations, and general contractual obligations
3. Commercial and contractual reporting
4. Ensuring compliance of the works with technical specifications, applicable legislation, approvals and standards
5. Conduct and administer overall job planning and programming including short range and intermediate programmers for approval
6. QA,



programming & environmental requirements
7. Ensure all project Quality Assurance, OH&S; and Environmental requirements are documented and implemented

Skills and experience:

1. Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
2. 4 years site experience in piling and civil projects (preferred)
3. Understanding of RMS specifications
4. Understanding of piling systems, cfa, bored, cased etc
5. Commercial and contractual acumen
6. Previous Australian experience
7. Proven ability to communicate effectively to drive positive outcomes with key stakeholders
8. Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills
9. Have practical, hands on approach
10. Exceptional understanding of WHS legislation, principles, and practice
