The Role

- Work with engineers, Support and business stakeholders to maintain and scale Lumi’s TypeScript/React lending, risk management and customer service applications as the business grows.




- Improve reliability by identifying recurring operational issues, understanding root causes and delivering practical, durable fixes through code changes, scripts, workflows, alerts and runbooks.
- Provide second-level support while also delivering incremental enhancements that lift performance, scalability, maintainability and overall operability of existing applications.

This Person Is Someone With…

- A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, with the ability to make sensible trade-offs and deliver useful improvements without waiting for perfect conditions.
- Strong experience with TypeScript and React.
- Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals and experience working with distributed microservice systems.
- Strong capability diagnosing complex production issues, using logs, monitoring, metrics and Support context to identify root causes and drive durable reliability improvements.
- The ability to partner effectively with Platform EnBut its gineering and other teams where broader reliability or infrastructure improvements are needed.
- Disciplined coding practices, including unit and integration testing.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to learn from and share knowledge with others.
- Curiosity about using automation and AI-assisted tools to investigate issues, reduce manual work, improve documentation and accelerate practical improvements.
