SEO Specialist

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on SEO Specialist to manage organic and AI-search performance across a portfolio of clients. This is a client-facing role for someone who can turn research and audits into clear priorities, implement improvements and demonstrate results.

You’ll collaborate with our developers, designers, content specialists and wider marketing team across lead-generation, eCommerce and large programmatic websites.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and deliver SEO strategies aligned with client goals
- Conduct keyword, competitor and search-intent research
- Complete technical, on-page, content and backlink audits
- Diagnose crawling, indexing, canonicalisation, site architecture and Core Web Vitals issues
- Build prioritised SEO roadmaps and move recommendations into delivery
- Work directly in WordPress, Shopify and other CMS platforms
- Develop content briefs, keyword maps and internal-linking plans
- Use GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush and spreadsheets to identify opportunities
- Track qualified organic traffic, leads, sales and revenue—not vanity metrics
- Apply practical AI-search and GEO approaches while maintaining strong SEO foundations
- Present insights and recommendations clearly to clients
- Work closely with developers to implement and validate technical changes

Who You Are

You’re an experienced SEO practitioner who enjoys being hands-on. You can investigate technical issues, analyse data,



improve content and explain recommendations in clear commercial language.

You’ll ideally have

- Around 3–5 years of substantial hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency or multi-client environment
- Examples of organic-search results you personally helped deliver
- Solid technical SEO, keyword research, on-page, content and internal-linking knowledge
- Experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and tools such as Ahrefs or Semrush
- Experience working with WordPress, Shopify or similar platforms
- Confidence working with developers and client stakeholders
- Strong written communication, organisation and commercial judgement
- A practical interest in AI search, GEO and workflow automation

Experience with eCommerce, large websites, programmatic SEO, backlink analysis or digital PR is valuable but not essential.
