About the role

IMG Hotels is seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team in Bathurst, NSW. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our hotel during your assigned shifts.

As Shift

Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our hospitality team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and upholding the highest standards of service and safety. This position is integral to the day-to-day success of our hotel operations and directly impacts guest satisfaction and staff performance.

Key responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate all front-of-house and back-of-house staff during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient service delivery
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the hotel, including public areas and facilities
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures and health and safety regulations
- Manage shift administration including timekeeping and incident reporting
- Perform cash handling and reconciliation of accounts as required
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellent customer service and maintaining professional standards
- Liaise with management regarding operational issues, staffing concerns and maintenance requirements

What we're looking for

- Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a hospitality setting
- Solid knowledge of hotel operations, guest services and hospitality standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
- Proficiency in hotel management systems and point-of-sale technology




- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and composure under pressure
- Sound understanding of health, safety and security procedures
- High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
- Current RSA, RCG & ARCG required
- Hospitality qualifications or formal training is advantageous
