Scotford Fennessy is currently seeking experienced Production Shovel Operators for an exciting opportunity with a leading mining client in the Pilbara.

Working on a magnetite operation near Marble Bar, this is a great prospect for experienced operators looking to secure a long-term position with the potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment.

About the role:

- Operating large production excavators safely and efficiently
- Loading dump trucks in a high-volume production environment
- Excavating ore bodies, berms and pit walls to design
- Mining benches and cutting batters to design specifications




- Completing pre-start inspections and maintaining high housekeeping standards

To be successful, you will need:

- 5+ years’ experience as a Production Excavator Operator
- Proven experience operating Hitachi EX3600, CAT 6060 or equivalent
- Experience loading dump trucks in a production environment
- Sound understanding of ore mark-ups and pit configuration
- Ability to work to mine design and achieve production targets
- Current Australian working rights
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
