About Us
Larvotto Resources (LVR) is developing the Hillgrove Antimony and Gold Project in Armidale, NSW. This project offers a unique opportunity to work within the mining industry and reside in the vibrant regional town of Armidale, renowned for its quality of life, educational institutions, and beautiful surroundings. Centrally located between Brisbane and Sydney, Armidale is just a short drive to the popular Coffs Coast.
Larvotto Resources is forging ahead with current ramp up activities on our Hillgrove Antimony and Gold project and we now are seeking an experienced Site Cleaner to join the onsite mining team.
The Role The Site cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, hygienic and well-presented working environment across all facilities at Hillgrove Mine. The role plays a critical part in supporting operational readiness, workforce wellbeing, and compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards
Roster – 7 days on/7 days off (12hr shifts) - Day Shift Only
This role is on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract role.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Clean and maintain all site facilities including offices, crib rooms, kitchens, amenities, changerooms and ablutions
- Facilities & General Site Support
- Laundry, Consumables & Stock Management
- Support Operations, Processing, Maintenance, HSE and Administration teams with site
- Assist with unplanned or urgent tasks such as spills, weather-related cleaning or emergency response support.
- Support kitchen or cleaning operations as needed
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards
- Report maintenance issues and hazards
About You
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (preferred)
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Strong reliability and consistency
Requirements:
- Current Australian Manual Driver's License (Must have)
- Ability to perform physical tasks safely
- First Aid Certificate/CPR Qualification (desirable)
- Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
- Must be able to provide a valid National Police Clearance, obtained within the last six months upon request.
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening, and comply with ongoing testing during employment.
