As a Site Engineer, you will provide engineering support across the delivery of major energy and transmission projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, Supervisors, subcontractors and client representatives, you will help coordinate works and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.

You will be involved across multiple stages of project delivery, gaining practical exposure to site operations, construction planning, quality, documentation, subcontractor coordination and project controls.

This is an opportunity to build your engineering career through hands-on exposure to large-scale energy and transmission infrastructure, working across different stages of project delivery with experienced construction teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the coordination of daily construction activities across civil and energy infrastructure works
- Assist with construction planning, programming and short-term scheduling
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Assist with preparing work packs, ITPs, SWMS and other project documentation
- Monitor project progress, productivity, quantities and resource requirements
- Conduct site inspections, quality checks and verification of completed works
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to support project delivery
- Assist with ensuring works comply with project specifications, Australian Standards and contractual requirements
- Support procurement, cost tracking, progress reporting and project administration
- Promote a strong safety culture and support compliance with WHS requirements

About You

- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline




- Graduate to 2 years' experience in a Site Engineer or similar civil construction role
- Sound understanding of civil construction methodologies, engineering principles and site practices
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, standards and technical documentation
- Understanding of QA/QC processes, ITPs, inspections and construction hold points
- Familiarity with surveying, quantities, measurements and construction set-out
- Understanding of project documentation, progress tracking and site reporting
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam or similar technical software highly regarded
- Experience across earthworks, concrete, drainage, structures or utilities highly regarded
- Experience on energy, transmission, utilities or major infrastructure projects highly regarded
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Current White Card and unrestricted Australian Driver Licence
- Willingness to work DIDO/FIFO rosters across regional project locations
