Anax Metals Limited has partnered with a progressive WA exploration and development company to secure an experienced Site Supervisor for an immediate 6-month contract at their flagship project in the Pilbara. Operating on a 2:1 FIFO roster departing from Perth, this highly autonomous role is responsible for overseeing the site's Care and Maintenance operations, running a small 12-room camp infrastructure, and supporting an active exploration drilling program.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and support a small care and maintenance team to ensure operational readiness, site security, and access control
- Assist with the hands-on maintenance of site equipment, vehicles, buildings, and heavy-duty pump/irrigation networks
- Manage and maintain the 12-room campsite and kitchen facility, including stock control of consumables and regular compliance logs
- Coordinate and support an active 10+ person exploration team and visiting contractors
About you
- LGIRS Statutory Supervisor accreditation is highly desirable (or a solid willingness to work towards obtaining)
- A mechanical, plumbing, or electrical trade background is highly regarded
- Proven mine site experience, ideally within asset care and maintenance or remote exploration support
- Current Manual Driver's Licence (HR preferred), First Aid, and a Telehandler ticket (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional resourcefulness, high autonomy, and basic MS Office literacy for record-keeping
- Pass a standard medical and drug screen, and share a recent Police Check
