Soul Origin Top Ryde is looking for Full time & Casual Team Members to join our team!
We are currently hiring for both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) positions.
All-Rounder / Barista – FOH
Are you friendly, outgoing and confident? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing great customer service?
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent customer service
- Taking orders and assisting customers
- Coffee making and general beverage preparation
- Cash handling and POS operation
- Preparing basic food items
- Opening and closing duties
- Stock handling and stocktake
- General cleaning and maintaining store presentation
We're looking for someone who:
- Has great communication and customer service skills
- Is reliable, energetic and well presented
- Has good attention to detail
- Understands food safety and hygiene
- Can work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Ideally has 6+ months' experience in hospitality, fast food or a similar environment
Barista experience is highly regarded. Kitchen Hand / BOH Team Member
Do you enjoy working with fresh ingredients and preparing great food? Are you comfortable with early starts and working independently or as part of a small team?
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing fresh menu items according to Soul Origin recipes and standards
- Food preparation using commercial-grade knives
- Ordering, receiving and rotating stock
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
- Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment and utensils
- Kitchen opening/closing and end-of-day cleaning
We're looking for someone who:
- Is confident using commercial-grade knives
- Can accurately follow recipes and preparation guides
- Has a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
- Understands food safety and hygiene practices
- Is reliable and comfortable with early morning starts
- Ideally has 6+ months' food preparation or kitchen experience
Pay & Penalty Rates Pay is in accordance with the Fast Food Industry Award 2020 (MA000003), including applicable casual loading, weekend and public holiday penalty rates.
