An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Procurement professional to join a large government department and lead complex tenders across indirect goods and services spend . This is a 6 month contract position on a hourly/daily rate commensurate with around $130-150K per annum level candidates.
This role sits within a high-performing sourcing team and will see you driving end to end procurement activities from market engagement and tender documentation through to evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
- Lead complex sourcing projects delivering strong value for money outcomes
- Develop procurement strategies, RFx documentation, and commercial recommendations
- Partner with senior stakeholders to guide decision-making and procurement governance
- Ensure compliance with government procurement frameworks and probity standards
- Manage supplier engagement, evaluations, and negotiations
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring robust tender management experience , excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to provide clear, commercial procurement advice in complex environments . Candidates with Public Sector Procurement experience will be favoured.
