The Company

As the business continues to grow and lead the market, they are seeking an experienced Payroll Team Lead to join their dynamic payroll function.

The Role

- Lead and oversee the delivery of weekly payrolls across Australia and Current Zealand, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Manage and review master file changes, time and attendance data, leave, allowances, deductions and ad hoc payments.
- Conduct payroll validation and variance analysis, ensuring key variances are investigated, documented and resolved prior to sign-off.
- Ensure payrolls are accurately processed, appropriately authorised and compliant with relevant legislation and Enterprise Agreements.
- Act as a key point of contact for payroll queries, supporting employees, managers and internal stakeholders.
- Partner closely with HR Business Partners and the REM team on payroll reporting, payslips,



separation certificates and other payroll matters.
- Prepare and provide payroll reports and insights to various departments.
- Support the Payroll Manager with process improvements, payroll governance and the effective management of day-to-day payroll operations.
- Provide guidance and support to payroll team members, helping to maintain a high-performing and collaborative team environment.

The Candidate

- 4+ years' experience across end-to-end Australian payroll, with previous experience in a senior or team lead capacity.
- Strong experience managing high-volume payroll environments.
- Australian payroll experience is essential, with NZ payroll experience highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of multiple Enterprise Agreements and payroll legislation.
- Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail and analytical capability.
- Proven ability to review, reconcile and identify payroll discrepancies.
