About the role

Shape the future of AI across a large public sector workplace. This role sits at the heart of AI opportunity, acting as the key link between business teams, technical delivery and governance.

Key Responsibilities

- Build trusted relationships with business leaders to uncover AI opportunities and strategic priorities.
- Shape AI use cases, value propositions, benefits and early business cases.
- Prioritise the AI pipeline and track risks, dependencies, benefits and delivery progress.
- Guide initiatives through governance, FAIRA, security, privacy, architecture and assurance pathways.
- Report portfolio insights, trends and business value to senior leaders and governance forums.

Highly desirable criteria

- Proven business relationship or advisory experience across complex organisations.
- Strong portfolio, pipeline or demand management experience.
- Demonstrated AI, digital transformation or innovation experience.
- Confident stakeholder facilitation with senior leaders and executive forums.




- Solid understanding of AI opportunity assessment, governance and adoption.

Desirable criteria

- Experience with FAIRA or similar AI risk and assurance processes.
- Exposure to business case, benefits and investment planning.
- Knowledge of AI strategy, adoption or emerging AI capabilities.
- Background in public sector or large enterprise environments.
