We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes: * Proven record of achievement in project management, including taking ownership and responsibility for meeting objectives, monitoring and reporting on progress against milestones and managing competing priorities. * Superior understanding and demonstrated experience in managing, and or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge, understanding and expertise in DRFA processes. * Demonstrated high level capabilities and experience in successfully implementing organisational change and service system reforms in a complex operational workplace of competing priorities and needs with limited resources. * Highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills including a demonstrated ability to interpret financial and trend/output/outcome performance data to drive performance improvement. * Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal, consultation, negotiation and collaboration skills and the proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Highly developed communication and oral presentation skills, including the ability to write concise, high-quality reports, briefs and correspondence. Mandatory/Special conditions/Other requirements:
The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role: * Whilst not mandatory, possession of a recognised degree in information technology and certification in Managing Successful Projects (PRINCE2), including experience in the use of project management tools and systems, will be highly regarded. * Whilst not mandatory, additional qualifications in education or emergency and disaster management related disciplines would be well regarded. * The incumbent may be required to travel on official business and the possession of a C class driver's licence may be required. * Position may require participation in shift work (including weekends and public holidays), on-call duties and undertake overtime.
