The Quatro Group is partnered with Vinci Construction Grand Projects to deliver the Quakers Hill Water Resource Recovery Facility.
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to direct the delivery of this complex project.
About the role:
Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership from planning through to completion. You will oversee site execution, drive commercial performance, foster high-performing teams, and ensure all works meet the highest standards of safety, quality, sustainability, and programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct overall site execution, construction planning, methodologies, and completion schedules to achieve critical project milestones.
- Commercial & Financial Control: Manage project financial performance—including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control—while partnering with the Commercial Manager on head contract administration, claims, and variations.
- Safety & Risk Management: Lead proactive safety culture and risk management across all site activities, including SWMS oversight, risk assessments, and compliance with statutory obligations.
- Engineering & Constructability: Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize constructability, review value engineering initiatives, and deliver practical temporary works solutions.
- Stakeholder & JV Management: Build robust relationships with Joint Venture partners, clients,
consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project objectives and governance.
- Team Leadership: Coach, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary delivery teams, fostering an inclusive, high-accountability environment and managing day-to-day industrial relations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience delivering major infrastructure, water, or wastewater treatment projects within complex design and construct environments.
- JV & Delivery Background: Demonstrated track record leading large-scale multidisciplinary construction projects within Joint Venture or collaborative delivery frameworks.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong expertise in contract administration, risk mitigation, procurement, and value engineering.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Australian construction legislation, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
