Older Persons, Subacute and Rehabilitation Services (OPSAR) delivers a comprehensive range of inpatient and community-based services focused on interprofessional care, integrated service delivery, and the preservation and restoration of health and wellbeing. The service supports individuals with complex and chronic health conditions through assessment, rehabilitation, care planning, system navigation and transitional care. OPSAR encompasses Aged Care Assessment and Memory Services, the Transition Care Program, Commonwealth Home Support Program, Neurology, the Older Persons Evaluation, Rehabilitation and Assessment (OPERA) Service, Subacute Care Unit, Rehabilitation, Palliative Care, Stroke Services, and the Older Persons Integrated Health Service (OPIHS), including OPEN ARCH, GEDI, OPeLS and RaSS programs. About you: In your new role you will..... * Demonstrate respectful communication skills that encourage and foster a supportive and positive workplace culture, including looking after your own and others' mental and physical wellbeing. * Support subacute services in the provision of clinical services to patients within scope of practice guidelines by undertaking non - clinical tasks including retrieval, cleaning,



tracking and maintaining equipment loaned to patients and other specialised equipment as well as performing routine clerical and administrative duties. * Use self-insight, reflection and awareness of the effect of own actions on others, relationships and teamwork within the multidisciplinary team. * Facilitate, monitor and be responsible for self development to ensure ongoing education to meet professional competency and mandatory training requirements and assist in mentoring/support of less experienced Allied Health Assistants.
