What your day could look like
As an Administration Officer Communications, you'll play an important role in keeping people connected to the services and support they need. From responding to high volumes of enquiries to helping coordinate communication during urgent situations, you'll contribute to safe, efficient operations and positive experiences for staff, patients and the community.
Every day, you'll contribute by: * Delivering responsive communication services that help callers quickly access the right people, departments and information. * Supporting hospital operations through accurate administrative processes, data management and coordination activities. * Responding calmly and effectively to urgent situations, helping ensure communication pathways remain transparent when they matter most. * Building strong working relationships across the organisation to maintain accurate information and support seamless service delivery. You're a calm, organised professional who enjoys helping people and delivering excellent service. You communicate with confidence, adapt to changing priorities and take pride in doing the right thing. Whether supporting a caller or assisting colleagues, you'll play an important role in creating positive experiences and helping services run smoothly.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role: * Experience delivering high-quality administration and customer service support in a fast-paced environment. * Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands and maintain accuracy. * Confident communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of people. * Proficiency using business systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel. You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in healthcare, switchboard, emergency response or other high-volume service environments.
