Seeking for a trade qualified and experienced Mechanic who will be based at Perth Airport area and handling repairs and maintenance on our vehicles in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

What you’ll do
- Servicing vehicles in line with manufacturers’ specifications and company standards, including carrying out minor repairs and preventative maintenance checks on fleet vehicles (e.g. replacing fluids, changing oil/air filter, tyres, brakes, fitting ski racks etc.) including cars, trucks and company fleet.
- Monitor inventory and request the order of new parts from Service Administrator Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.
- Perform diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
- Complete Repair Orders on worn parts, then reassembling engines for proper performance
- Providing breakdown assistance when necessary.
- Preparing vehicles for handback and sales.
- Testing and general servicing of workshop equipment for safety.
- Keeping accurate and on-time job records and recording servicing history in applicable systems.
- Conducting work in a safe manner, complying with Occupational Safety, Health & Environmental policies, procedures and being familiar with emergency evacuation procedures to eliminate or minimise workplace health and safety risks. This includes the reporting of all accidents, near accidents and hazards.
- Adhering to Company Quality Assurance and Uniform Guidelines.
- Attend company/manufacturer training as necessary.
- Working efficiently and effectively in a team environment to maintain a culture of service excellence and accomplishing organisational goals under limited supervision.
- Driving vehicles as required.
- Other reasonable duties as requested by the Service Manager.
What we’re looking for
- Trade qualification in a relevant Motor Mechanics field (minimum of Cert III / AQF III)
- Experience with both petrol and diesel motors
- Full drivers’ license (including manual vehicles)
- Proficient in English language (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- A customer-focused, team-oriented and adaptable approach to work each day.
- Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.
- Applicants must be prepared to undertake pre-employment test which may include drug and alcohol testing.
