About the opportunity:

As a casual Gym Instructor, you will:

- Provide core services to members, including screenings, physical assessments and designing individual and group fitness programs in accordance with ACU Active policies and procedures.
- Supervise the gym floor and assist with operational needs, including welcoming new members, providing training advice, correcting exercise technique, cleaning equipment, adhering to OH&S;/WHS requirements and gathering member feedback.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and communication to existing and prospective members.
- Assist in the development, implementation and review of member engagement programs and services.
- Provide social media content to engage, motivate and educate current and prospective ACU Active members.

You will need to have:

- Completed a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Sport Science or a related field.
- Sound knowledge and technical skills in prescribing and supervising both individual and group exercise programs.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid Victorian Working with Children Check
- Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to liaise professionally with peers, colleagues and clients at all levels.
