We are seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a respected and growing specialist litigation practice as Special Counsel in Sydney CBD.
You will bring extensive experience advising employers and senior stakeholders, a commercially minded approach to complex workplace issues, and a proven ability to develop strong client relationships while contributing to the ongoing success of the practice.
Duties will include:
- Managing sophisticated employment and workplace matters across a broad range of industries
- Providing strategic advice to businesses, executives and senior decision-makers on employment-related issues
- Conducting significant litigation matters, including appearances in courts, tribunals, mediations and other dispute resolution processes
- Advising on executive exits, workplace disputes, discrimination matters and other sensitive employment issues
- Assisting clients with restraint of trade matters, confidentiality obligations and post-employment disputes
- Leading workplace investigations and delivering practical, commercially focused outcomes
- Supporting the development of junior lawyers within a collaborative team environment
- Contributing to business development initiatives and the continued expansion of the employment practice
