Role Description
This is an on-site, contractor role for a Speech Therapist located in Croydon, VIC.
The Paediatric Speech
Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and providing therapy to children, developing personalized therapy programs, and collaborating with other therapists and support staff. Day-to-day tasks include conducting assessments, planning and implementing therapy sessions, and providing support and guidance to families.
The role also involves documentation and progress tracking, as well as participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience in Pediatrics especially in neurodivergent populations specialising in assessing and supporting language, communication and social skill development
- Strong communication skills, ethical practice and professionalism
- Relevant qualification in Speech therapy in Australia
- Registered with professional Speech Therapy body (SPA) in Australia
- Ability to work independantly with clients and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Experience with a flexible, child centred, creative, strengths-based, neuroaffirming, and trauma-informed approach is essential
- Relevant certifications, training and licenses
- Current WWCC and Police check required
- Must have own ABN and qualified indemnity insurance
