Must Have Skills: SRv6, MPLS, IPv6, BGP, ISIS, EVPN
Role Summary: Seeking an experienced Network Engineer with solid expertise in SRv6, MPLS, IPv6, BGP, ISIS, EVPN, and Service Provider Networks to support Optus network transformation and modernization initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in IP/MPLS Service Provider networks
- Strong hands-on experience with:
o SRv6 (Segment Routing IPv6)
o MPLS & Segment Routing o BGP, ISIS, OSPF o EVPN/VXLAN o IPv4 & IPv6
o Traffic Engineering and QoS
Experience on
o Nokia 7750 SR / SR OS o Cisco ASR9K / NCS / IOS-XR o Juniper (preferred)
- Network automation experience using Python, Ansible, YANG, NETCONF/RESTCONF
- Experience in carrier-grade backbone networks, network transformation, and migration programs
- Ability to provide L3 support and drive RCA for critical incidents

• CCNP/CCIE Service Provider
- Nokia NRS-I / NRS-II
- JNCIP-SP / JNCIE-SP
- ITIL Foundation
