We're looking for an experienced and inspiring Store Manager to lead our James Street boutique - someone who understands that great fashion retail is about more than selling product. It's about creating meaningful experiences, building genuine client relationships and leading a team that takes pride in what they do.

The opportunityThis is a substantial leadership role. You'll take ownership of the day-to-day performance of the boutique and lead a team of up to ten, delivering strong commercial results while upholding Camargue's standards of service and presentation.

You'll be a visible, hands-on leader on the shop floor - coaching the team, building client relationships, driving sales and creating an environment that reflects the Camargue brand. And you'll have real scope to shape the culture, performance and direction of the boutique.

What you'll doLead the team

- Motivate, coach and develop a team to deliver exceptional results.
- Set clear expectations and provide ongoing feedback and recognition.
- Build a positive, professional and energetic culture and address performance, behavioural or service issues promptly.
- Lead by example through your presence, attitude and work ethic.

Drive commercial performance

- Own store sales performance and deliver monthly budgets.
- Build a sales culture grounded in styling,



product knowledge and client relationships.
- Monitor sales, sell-through and key store results, and turn the gaps into clear actions.
- Drive new client acquisition and ongoing client development.

Deliver an exceptional client experience

- Set the standard for highly personalised, memorable service.
- Build strong relationships with new and existing clients, and coach the team to grow their own client portfolios and contact books.
- Ensure clients are advised of new collections launching.
- Coach the team to speak confidently about product, brands and styling.
- Handle returns with a positive, service-led approach, working towards an exchange wherever appropriate.

Uphold the Camargue standard

- Maintain immaculate visual merchandising and boutique presentation - clean, considered and fully stocked throughout the day.
- Ensure the team meets Camargue's presentation and wardrobe standards, working with the Retail Director to keep staff presentation aligned with the Camargue aesthetic.
- Give immediate, constructive feedback where standards aren't met.

Run the business

- Manage day-to-day operations, including rosters, timesheets and store administration.
- Own the boutique's cost base, from alterations and dry cleaning through to broader store expenses, and maintain accurate budget information.
- Ensure cash handling, reporting,



compliance and facilities management are consistently and accurately handled.

About youYou're a confident, commercially driven retail leader with a genuine passion for fashion and people. You know how to create a premium client experience without losing sight of the numbers, and you're at your best leading from the front on the shop floor.

You'll ideally bring

- Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a senior retail leadership role, ideally within premium, designer or fashion retail.
- A track record of leading, motivating and developing a sizeable team.
- Strong commercial and sales acumen, with confidence in styling, upselling and cross-selling.
- Exceptional client service skills and excellent communication.
- Solid organisation, time management and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.
- The confidence to take ownership, make decisions and drive outcomes.
