Optima Press, based in Balcatta, is seeking a reliable and organised Storeperson / Despatch team member to join our busy printing operation.

This is a hands-on role responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage and dispatch of printed materials, ensuring customer orders are accurately prepared and delivered on time.

The Role The successful applicant will be responsible for:

- Receiving, checking and storing incoming materials and goods
- Preparing completed print jobs for dispatch and delivery
- Picking, packing and labelling customer orders accurately
- Checking quantities and job details prior to dispatch
- Loading and unloading goods safely
- Coordinating deliveries and collections with customers and transport providers
- Moving materials and finished products throughout the production and warehouse areas
- Maintaining an organised and tidy warehouse and despatch area
- Assisting production staff with the movement of paper, stock and finished print
- Ensuring goods are handled and stored carefully to prevent damage
- Completing relevant paperwork and maintaining accurate stock and despatch records
- Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times

About You We are looking for someone who has:

- Previous experience in a warehouse, storeperson, despatch or print industry environment




- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy, deadline-driven environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A reliable, positive and practical approach to work
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive physical fitness, as the role involves regular lifting, carrying and movement of materials
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Experience within the printing industry would be highly regarded, particularly an understanding of paper stocks, printed materials and print finishing. A current forklift licence would be advantageous.
