We are looking for an experienced Structural Steel Site Rectification Labourer to join our team. The successful applicant will be involved in structural steel rectification and repair work on construction sites and must be confident using hand tools and carrying out basic welding work.
Key responsibilities
- Structural steel site rectification and repair work
- Arc welding and fabrication
- Grinding, cutting and drilling
- Use of hand and power tools
- Adjusting, modifying and repairing steelwork on site
- Assisting installers and tradesmen as required
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Following site safety procedures
About you
- Previous experience in structural steel or construction
- Arc welding experience – essential
- Good knowledge of general hand tools
- Ability to carry out structural steel rectification and repairs
- Ability to read and understand basic drawings is an advantage
- Construction/site experience preferred
- White Card
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Valuable safety awareness and attention to detail
