Supervisor / Estimator, Project Manager - Insurance Building

Gold Coast/South Brisbane, QLD | Full-Time

Our client, an established and growing insurance building and restoration business, is seeking an experienced Insurance Building Supervisor / Project Manager to join their Gold Coast team.

We are specifically looking to speak with candidates who have previous experience within the insurance building, repairs or restoration industry. Whether your background is at Supervisor, Senior Supervisor or Project Manager level, we are interested in experienced insurance building professionals looking for their next opportunity.

You will manage insurance repair and restoration projects from initial assessment and scoping through to completion, coordinating trades, managing customers and stakeholders, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and within agreed time-frames and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage insurance repair and restoration projects from initial assessment through to completion.
- Attend sites, assess damage and prepare detailed scopes of works.
- Coordinate and manage trades, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage multiple jobs concurrently while maintaining quality, timelines and budgets.
- Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, insured customers and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor job progress, variations, costs and overall project performance.
- Ensure works comply with relevant building codes, legislation, WHS requirements and insurer expectations.
- Provide regular updates to customers and key stakeholders throughout the claims and repair process.




- Identify issues early and proactively manage project risks, delays and escalations.
- Maintain strong relationships with trades, customers, insurers and internal teams.

About You Previous insurance building experience is essential for this opportunity.

We are interested in speaking with candidates who have experience as an:

- Insurance Building Supervisor
- Insurance Repair Supervisor
- Restoration Supervisor
- Senior Supervisor
- Insurance Project Manager
- Building Project Manager within the insurance repair sector

You will ideally bring:

- Demonstrated experience managing insurance building or restoration claims.
- Strong knowledge of insurance repair processes, scopes, variations and trade management.
- Experience managing a portfolio of insurance repair projects simultaneously.
- Strong construction knowledge and understanding of residential building repairs.
- Excellent customer and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisation, communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Trade qualifications and/or Building & Construction qualifications are highly regarded.
- Current White Card and unrestricted Australian working rights.
- Experience with insurance building and project management systems will also be highly regarded.

Occasional interstate travel may be required to assist with increased workloads following major weather or catastrophic events. Applicants must hold unrestricted Australian working rights and be willing to undertake a National Police Check prior to commencement.
