ABOUT THE POSITION

TLEA is welcoming applications for full time Max term Supervisor E&I; Projects to join our team working at our Kwinana plant.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing all electrical, instrumentation, and control activities within the project team portfolio, from contract award through to operational handover. This role covers projects of varying sizes, including small sustaining capital works, capital projects, and major multidisciplinary packages. The EIC Supervisor ensures all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with TLEA engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

Additionally, the Supervisor actively supports and applies the company’s continuous improvement principles to minimize costs and maximize production, helping Tianqi Lithium Kwinana deliver the highest quality and most cost-effective lithium in the world.

In addition to possessing our core values of distinction, pragmatism, honesty, tenacity and innovation, this position will suit an individual with previous experience of supervising E&I; Projects, ideally within Brownfields Operations and environments.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrate an overriding commitment to the continual improvement of health, safety,



environment and sustainable development across the business.

Commitment to ensuring a safe working environment for all our people.

Schedule, coordinate and supervise the daily activities of electrical work crews ensuring all work in relation to electrical equipment and installations is adequately supervised.

Monitor daily works, including quality and quantity inspections, daily progress reporting and safety leadership activities.

Support, coach and effectively communicate with team members.

Build professional and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Participate in PTW requirements and authorisation of certificates, work packs and permitting process.

Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical and gas regulations and standards.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all events and hazards and participate in workplace investigations or observations as required

Undertake, if necessary, relief positions within relevant skills and competencies

Minimise operating costs, including sensible use of consumables, recycling and elimination of waste

Participate in planning and preparation of specific work packs for work execution.

Participate in procurement process to ensure teams are adequately stocked to undertake their scopes of work.

Participate in the Success Factors process and strive to achieve set KPI’s.

Participate in setting and achieving individual and team goals which are directly linked to achieving the overall business standards and objectives.

Maintain constructive working relationships with internal customers, suppliers and other crews.

Complete tasks as dictated by the business needs and within skill set.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING

Minimum 10 years’ experience working in heavy industry or refining processes in both the construction and commissioning fields.

Electrical Workers Licence, Fitter/Mechanic

Electrical/Instrument Trade Certificate





High Voltage Switching Operation

Current High Risk Work Licence EWP

Current Working at Heights Certification

Possess a high level of computer literacy across the MS office suite

Low voltage rescue and CPR certification

Experience in any of the following would be preferred:

Supervisory Gas Experience Type B gas appliances and Consumer Piping

Solid understanding of SAP processes for work execution and to capture related transactional data into the SAP system

Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Certification

Previous experience as an In-House Electrical Licence holder

Demonstrated experience in effective planning and scheduling with Project or P6 Primavera

Demonstrated experience with specific equipment:

Medium Voltage Switchgear-Schneider, ABB

Low Voltage MCCs-Schneider Teresaki, NHP & Allen Bradley

Variable Speed Drives -Allen Bradley Power Flex 753, ABB ACS880

Process Control System -Controllogix, Flex 10

Instrumentation -E&H;, Krohne, Samson 4-20mA HART

LOCATION

TLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.

Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
