Due to continual growth we are looking to expand our amazing team and have the opportunity for an experienced,
compassionate and engaging Disability Support Worker to join us! We are searching for support workers who have experience/training in residential care, personal care and behaviours.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting and supporting in group activities and outings.
- Providing in home and in community respite.
- Support participants in our respite house facility.
- Assisting with light domestic duties, personal hygiene, providing meals and other health and wellness related activities.
- Assisting to develop independence and build on life skills.
About you:
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current and explicit Working with Children Check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Qualifications or experience highly desirable.
