Role Description The Systems Coordinator / Technical Support Specialist at Liderazgo con Cuidado is a part-time remote role responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s technology systems. The role includes providing first-line technical support to team members, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues, and escalating complex problems when needed.

The specialist will assist with system administration tasks such as user account management, permissions, updates, and monitoring system performance. Day-to-day activities also involve documenting support requests and resolutions, maintaining knowledge base materials, coordinating with vendors or external IT partners, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and user experience. Collaboration with program and administrative staff to ensure reliable, secure technology that supports the organization’s mission is a core aspect of this position.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Technical Support and Information Technology skills to troubleshoot issues, support users, and work with common operating systems, productivity tools, and cloud-based platforms.




- Candidates should possess System Administration and Information Technology skills to manage user accounts, permissions, updates, and basic configuration of systems and applications.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to diagnose technical problems, interpret system logs, and propose practical solutions that improve reliability and efficiency.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills to provide clear, patient guidance to users, document processes, and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Relevant experience in remote technical support or IT coordination, especially in small organizations or nonprofits, is beneficial.
- Familiarity with security best practices, data protection, and backup procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently in a remote environment, and adapt to evolving tools and technologies is important.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred but not required.
