Villanova College is seeking a full-time continuing Mathematics Teacher to commence in Term 1, 2027.
This role offers the opportunity to teach Mathematics across Years 7 to 12, working with motivated students in a collaborative faculty committed to high-quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics across a range of year levels, including the Australian Curriculum (Years 7-10) and QCAA Senior Syllabuses (Years 11-12)
- Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed learning experiences suited to a range of abilities
- Design and implement assessment and feedback practices aligned to QCAA and ACARA requirements
- Monitor student progress and use data to inform teaching decisions
- Contribute to faculty planning, moderation and curriculum development
- Maintain a positive, inclusive and academically focused classroom workplace
About You The successful applicant will:
- Hold tertiary qualifications in education with a specialisation in Mathematics
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a commitment to contemporary, evidence-based pedagogy
- Show capacity to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students across the full range of abilities
- Build positive, respectful relationships with students, colleagues and families
- Support and participate in the spiritual life and mission of the College, including co-curricular involvement
