Position Details St Helena’s Catholic Primary School is a co-educational primary school catering for over 490 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. This is a wonderful opportunity for a committed and passionate Teacher to positively influence the lives of students and contribute to our school community at St Helena's Catholic Primary School.

This position could also potentially become full-time with another specialist/support teaching role added, depending on the strengths and skills of the successful applicant.

Selection Criteria Applications are invited from educators who can demonstrate:

- Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
- Demonstrate excellent pedagogical skills with a flexible, team-oriented and student-centred approach.
- Possess a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum - Health & Physical Education.
- Demonstrate the ability to use assessment and continuous monitoring methods and tools to adjust the teaching practices to cater for the needs of all students.
- Display excellent classroom management and organisational siklls.
- Display excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of expertise in planning & coordinating various sporting events.




- Demonstrate the capability to work collaboratively with other staff to promote student learning and to enhance one's own teaching instruction and the learning culture of the school.
- Demonstrate an ability to lead by taking on roles within the school and being involved in extra- curricular activities, particularly in the area of Physical Education.
- Demonstrate the skills to contribute to and promote a strong staff culture and work collaboratively with students, staff, parents and Parish in promoting a nurturing Catholic school community.

Qualifications Required

- Accreditation to work in a Catholic School (or prepared to work towards)
- Relevant 4 Year Tertiary Qualifications
