Programmed Apprenticeships & Traineeships, in partnership with DLS Group Civils, is seeking a motivated individual to join the team as a Civil Construction Trainee based in Rowville, Victoria.
This 36-month traineeship is an excellent opportunity to build a career in the civil construction industry while gaining hands-on experience on real projects. You'll learn from experienced workers on the job while completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Civil Construction.
No extensive industry experience is required - we're looking for someone who is reliable, enjoys practical work and is ready to learn and develop their skills.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Civil Construction Trainee, you'll develop skills across a range of activities, including:
- Assisting with civil construction and infrastructure works
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Learning to operate and work around civil construction equipment
- Carrying out measurements and basic construction calculations
- Reading and interpreting plans, drawings and specifications
- Preparing and maintaining work areas and sites
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Working alongside experienced civil construction crews

What We're Looking For

- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- A genuine interest in building a career in civil construction
- Commitment to completing a Certificate III in Civil Construction
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Comfortable undertaking physical work and working outdoors
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Previous construction or labouring experience is beneficial but not essential. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most.
