Maintenance Electrician – Permanent Night Shift

Salary – $150,000 – $180,000 + super

We are currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join a leading FMCG manufacturing business on a permanent night shift roster.

The Role
Working as part of the site’s maintenance team, you will be responsible for keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently throughout the night shift.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Electrical breakdown maintenance and fault finding
- Preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Diagnosing electrical and control system faults
- Working on PLCs, sensors, VSDs,
motors and automated machinery
- Electrical repairs and modifications
- Supporting production to minimise downtime
- Assisting with continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Completing maintenance documentation and following site procedures
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant standards
About YouTo be successful, you will ideally have:
- A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Previous experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or industrial manufacturing
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with automated production equipment
- Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, VSDs and control systems
- A proactive approach to preventative maintenance
- Ability to work autonomously while also contributing to a wider maintenance team
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
