Technical Lead – Energy / Utilities | Melbourne | 12 + Months
We’re looking for an experienced Technical Lead to join a long-term engagement supporting and evolving a customer-facing digital platform within the energy/utilities sector.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role — not a pure architecture or delivery management position.
You’ll lead engineering across React/TypeScript, APIs, backend services, integrations and AWS, while also taking ownership of technical outcomes across production support, incidents, releases and continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for:
- 8+ years in software/application engineering
- Strong Technical Lead experience
- Contemporary web application background
- AWS cloud-native application experience
- Strong production support and incident leadership
- Experience leading onshore/offshore engineering teams
- Excellent stakeholder communication
Energy or utilities experience would be highly regarded.
