About the Temporary Employment Register
We are seeking applications from appropriately skilled, experienced and enthusiastic individuals who are interested in temporary opportunities to work in the Legislative Council Committee Office.
The Committee Office provides secretariat support to the Legislative Council’s committees.
Our committees undertake inquiries into a diverse range of policy and accountability issues. Principal Council Officers manage committee inquiries including reviewing submissions, organising hearings and drafting reports.

Targeted questions
1. Describe a project involving challenging stakeholders in which you balanced multiple tasks and competing priorities, while meeting strict deadlines and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
2. Principal Council Officers write complex reports leading to recommendations for policy change. Outline your experience analysing large volumes of material to produce complex written materials and developing policy proposals.
