About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a strong work ethic, and wants to develop their skills within a dynamic trade environment. As a Trade Assistant, you will support qualified tradespeople with day-to-day operations, assist with installations, maintenance and repairs, prepare materials and tools, and help ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist tradespeople with installation, maintenance, repair, and construction tasks.
- Prepare, transport, and organize tools, equipment, and materials.
- Perform general labouring and site support duties.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
- Assist with stock control and inventory management.
- Complete basic maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines.
Skills & Experience
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant, Labourer, or similar role.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- 3 Months trial Period.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
- Full working rights in Australia.
Desirable Qualifications
- White Card.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Experience in Plumbing, construction, manufacturing, maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or HVAC industries.
