About the role

Tercel International (WA) is seeking a dedicated and reliable Trade Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis at our Osborne Park location. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within the trades and services sector, supporting skilled tradespeople whilst developing valuable hands-on experience. As a Trade Assistant, you will play a crucial part in ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely and to the highest standards.

This position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in the trades with a forward-thinking company.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting technicians with daily tasks and project requirements
- Preparing work areas, tools and materials for trade activities
- Supporting the installation, maintenance or repair of lightning protection/earthing equipment and systems
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Carrying out general labouring duties including moving, lifting and transporting materials
- Learning and applying correct use of hand tools and equipment under supervision
- Assisting with stock management and inventory control
- Supporting documentation and record-keeping as required

What we're looking for

- A keen willingness to learn and develop skills within the trades sector
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour duties
- Reliability and strong work ethic with commitment to punctuality and attendance
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in the constructions sector




- Willingness to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team environment
- Awareness of health and safety practices and commitment to working safely
- Previous trade experience or relevant qualifications (preferred but not essential)
- Current driving license (desirable)
