Position Available: Trade Assistant
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Trade Assistant to support our team of skilled technicians. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our service and installation processes.
What We Require:
- Assist technicians with the repair, and maintenance of industrial roller doors, shutters, automatic doors, and gate operating equipment.
- Prepare and organise tools, equipment, and materials required for jobs.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks and operate various hand and power tools.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, including the workshop and service vehicles.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Complete paperwork and documentation as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients on job sites.

What you need:
- White Card (Construction)
- Full unrestricted Australian working rights
- Ability to pass criminal checks for correctional centres
- Valid QLD driver's licence (HR/forklift/scissor-lift an advantage)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understand & comply with Workplace Health & Safety Policies
- Able to work under pressure and adapt to change
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team
- Robust relationship building ability
- Ability to work overtime regularly
- Must be available for after-hours "on-call" service including weekends (on rotation every 7-8 weeks)
