Role Description
The ICT Officer is an operational technical position that provides day-to-day ICT support,
administration and problem-solving across OVIC's ICT infrastructure and operations. Reporting to the ICT Operations Manager, the role provides hands-on technical support and contributes to the delivery of ICT projects and initiatives under the guidance of the ICT Operations Manager.
At the VPS Grade 3 level, the ICT Officer is expected to work independently on routine and moderately complex technical tasks, applying established procedures, standards and practices to resolve issues and support business operations. Higher-risk, complex, security-sensitive or escalated matters are referred to the ICT Operations Manager for direction and resolution.
