Customer Service Operators – Contact Centre | Ringwood

HOBAN Recruitment is currently seeking Customer Service Operators to join a busy and growing contact centre team based in Ringwood.

This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of previous contact centre experience who is looking to take the next step in their customer service career.

We are specifically seeking candidates who have worked in a call centre or contact centre environment and are comfortable speaking with customers over the phone. Experience across customer service, sales, retention, complaints, collections or similar contact centre functions will be highly regarded.

Experience within energy, banking, telecommunications, insurance, utilities or another regulated industry is essential.

About the Role As a Customer Service Operator, you’ll be part of a supportive team responsible for helping customers with a range of enquiries and providing solutions across multiple channels.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Handling customer enquiries via phone, email and live chat
- Managing inbound customer calls in a fast-paced contact centre environment
- Providing accurate information and resolving customer enquiries
- Problem-solving and finding appropriate solutions for customers
- Managing challenging conversations professionally
- Taking ownership of enquiries and following them through to resolution
- Accurately recording customer information and interactions
- Navigating multiple systems while speaking with customers
- Working collaboratively as part of a team

About You We’re looking for someone who has previously worked in a call centre/contact centre environment and is ready to build on that experience.

You will ideally have:

- At least 1 year of contact centre or call centre experience
- Previous experience in energy, banking, telecommunications, insurance, utilities or another regulated industry – essential




- Experience in customer service, sales, retention, complaints, collections or a similar contact centre function
- Confident telephone communication skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- The ability to manage multiple systems and accurately record information
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Resilience and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- A genuine interest in providing great customer service

Important: This opportunity is specifically for candidates who have had previous call centre/contact centre exposure. Retail, hospitality or general administration experience alone will not meet the requirements for this position.
