ABOUT THE ROLE

Position

We are looking for a dedicated and customer focussed individual to join our Financial Services section.

Reporting to the Coordinator Rating, the Water Administration Officer is an significant member of Council’s Rating team, contributing to the delivery of high level services to our community.

In this varied role, you will support the efficient and timely administration of Council’s water and wastewater billing system, helping ensure accurate billing and a positive customer experience.

To be successful you will bring

- Completion of vocational qualification in Business, Finance, Administration or equivalent, and/or demonstrated relevant experience.
- Proven highly developed communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proven sound interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service and deal with sensitive issues using diplomacy, assertiveness and compassion.
- Demonstrated computer literacy with intermediate Microsoft Excel experience and competency with other Microsoft 365 applications and corporate software.




- Demonstrated data entry experience with proven accuracy and attention to detail.

- An annual salary range of $68,400 to $78,500 (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
