Serve with purpose. Grow through community.
Be part of the moments that shape a child's day. Every day, you welcome children into a safe and engaging environment where they can play, build friendships and grow in confidence before and after school. At Kids Early Learning Colyton you help create positive experiences that children and families can rely on, supporting them through Outside School Hours Care (6:30am - 9:30am and 2:00pm - 6:00pm).
As an OSHC Aide, you support the Service Coordinator with the daily operation of the service. You set up and pack away activities and equipment, supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, and help maintain clean, safe and organised spaces. You monitor children's wellbeing, respond to their needs and contribute to programs that support their learning, development and participation.
You work closely with children, families and colleagues to provide consistent care and support. You help maintain records, follow health and safety requirements, communicate with parents and contribute to an environment where children feel secure, included and supported throughout the day.
This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on children's daily experiences while working in a rewarding Outside School Hours Care setting. You join a supportive team, build your skills through ongoing learning and development, and enjoy hours that fit around the school day.
If you are reliable, caring and enjoy working with children, this role could be a great fit. We are looking for someone who likes being involved, builds positive relationships with children and contributes to a fun, safe and engaging workplace.
At Blacktown City Council, good people make great teams, and great teams build great cities. Here, you will find the stability and support to keep growing, along with:
- a secure, permanent, full-time role with one of Australia's largest councils
- an entry level salary commencing at $1,371.62 per week
- a 35-hour working week
- 12% superannuation and competitive leave entitlements
- ongoing training and development support
- access to Fitness Passport, social clubs and wellbeing programs.
