Are you ready to kick start your career in the government sector? Look no further! The Queensland Revenue Office is seeking to fill an AO3 Service Officer role in Brisbane. This role is available within the Land Tax division, responsible for ensuring land tax is administered accurately, fairly and in line with legislative requirements. This process may also be used to fill additional AO3 Service Officer vacancies in Brisbane across the Taxes and Revenue and Grants Group within the next 12 months.

As a Service Officer, you will work in a cooperative team environment to deliver excellent client service through various mediums including telephone, in writing and online. You will adopt a client-centric approach when supporting our clients to receive their correct entitlements and meet their obligations.

Your typical day as a Service Officer may include:

- Assessing client eligibility for exemptions
- Reviewing legislation and documenting decisions
- Reviewing and responding to client correspondence received via on line and email enquiries
- Answering client phone calls and applying revenue rules and processes to resolve enquiries, ensuring a positive client experience.

To be successful in the role, you will need to demonstrate:





- A working knowledge of digital and data technology/systems.
- The ability to interpret and apply legislation and/or policy or the ability to rapidly acquire this capability.
